Latrobe City funds $315k in community grants and sponsorships for 2023/24
Latrobe City Council congratulates Round One of the 2023/24 Community Grants and Sponsorship Program recipients, funding 92 projects with $289,311 in grants and $26,015 in sponsorship. Round Two opens on January 29, 2024.
Latrobe City Council would like to congratulate the successful applicants of Round One of the 2023/24 Community Grants and Sponsorship Program. The Community Grants Program aims to support community initiatives, projects and events that assist the local region. A total of 92 applications were successful in receiving funding for their projects, with $289,311 in Community Grants and $26,015 for the Community Sponsorship Program.

Applications for Round One of the 2023/24 Community Grant and Sponsorship Program were accepted from 10 July 2023 to 10 August 2023 across six program categories. Mayor of Latrobe City Council, Councillor Kellie O'Callaghan congratulated the successful applicants and looked forward to the results this funding would achieve.
"Council is proud to deliver $308,400 in the first round of the Community Grants and Sponsorship Program that will facilitate 92 fantastic projects for our community. The Community Grant and Sponsorship Program enables council to make financial contributions to the cost of local projects. These programs are provided to acknowledge and enhance the contribution that individuals and groups make to the Latrobe City community," said the Mayor.
Community groups or organisations who didn't have a chance to apply for Round One or were unsuccessful are encouraged to apply for Round Two of the program which opens on 29 January 2024. Applicants are advised to contact council's Grants Officer on 1300 367 700 or grants@latrobe.vic.gov.au for assistance.
