Community Guide to local health services and support groups for Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shire councils in 2023 has launched
Bass Coast Shire Council and South Gippsland Shire Council have launched their third edition of a community services guide booklet, offering easy access to local health services and support groups.
Bass Coast Shire Council and South Gippsland Shire Council have developed a community services guide booklet for local health services and support organisations for the region. This is the third edition of the booklet which is accessible online at both councils' websites as well as being available within support service agencies and customer service areas of both councils.
The Community Guide booklet is accessible online and at local support agencies. It plays a vital role in community health and council collaboration, with online and print versions, and regular updates

Bass Coast Acting Chief Executive Officer, Greg Box said, "We hope that this guide is able to provide you with a quick reference to localised support services for yourself, family, friends, colleagues or neighbours to support the wellbeing of our community."
"We thank all the service providers who continue to work hard to support the community and provide the best quality service and of course our partnership with South Gippsland." he said.

South Gippsland Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Kerryn Ellis said, "The health and wellbeing of our community is paramount. The third iteration of the Community Support Booklet is a fantastic resource for the communities of Bass Coast and South Gippsland."
"Community Support Booklet is just one of the ways the local government takes care of its community. We are excited by opportunities where we can work together with other councils to do more for our community," Ms Ellis said.
The document is readily accessible online at Bass Coast Shire Council website or South Gippsland Shire Council website and www.southcoastpcp.org.au and can either be read online or printed. This booklet will be updated periodically.
