Upgrade funding applications for South Gippsland cricket clubs ranging $15,000 to $40,000 from Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund open until 24 March 2024
Danny O'Brien, representing Gippsland South, encourages local cricket clubs to seek Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund grants for upgrades, with applications due by March 24th.
The Nationals Member for Gippsland South, Danny O'Brien, is encouraging local cricket clubs to throw their hat in the ring for a share of the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund. Mr O'Brien highlighted that the program, jointly funded by Cricket Victoria, Cricket Australia and the Australian Cricketers Association, is open to all cricket clubs, cricket associations, schools, local government and cricket facility managers.
The Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF) provides funding for community cricket facility projects, with a focus on growing participation and promoting accessibility and inclusivity, application ends on 24 March 2024
Cricket club grants
Mr O'Brien said, "This fund provides grant opportunities across a number of project areas from minor expenditures to major upgrades. The minor category funds projects up to $15,000, while the major category funds projects up to $40,000."
"I strongly encourage our local clubs who are looking for ways to fund their wishlist projects to get their applications in and take advantage of Cricket Australia's current funding round. Local clubs can contact my office on 5144 1987 or email me at danny.obrien@parliament.vic.gov.au to arrange a letter of support for their application," he said.
