Latrobe City Community Fun Run 2022 organised by Traralgon Harriers to raise money for Gippsland Rotary Centenary House
The Traralgon Harriers' 24th annual DFP Recruitment Latrobe City Fun Run and Walk held on Sunday, 27 March 2022.
Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester pictured with the two fastest junior runners in the Latrobe City Community Fun Run, Isaac Frost and Emily Harris at Morwell on Sunday. The annual event was organised by the Traralgon Harriers to raise money for Gippsland Rotary Centenary House. Juniors ran a 1.5km course around the Immigration Walk at Kernot Hall while the open event was a 5km course along Waterhole Creek.
In the last few years the community fun run has been moved back to Traralgon and has been promoted exceptionally well with many teams and individuals
This community event includes a 5k fun run/walk and 1.5km event for kids under 12. This year's run will be a loop from Kernot Hall in Morwell, using the paths through Waterhole Creek. Traffic will be managed on Hourigan Road for the duration of the event.
