Celebrate East Gippsland Winter Festival from 17 June to 10 July 2022
Embrace the chill of the season in an abundant celebration of art, wine, local produce and live music across East Gippsland from 17 June to 10 July 2022.
Be welcomed by friendly locals and creative communities for a series of collaborative events across three and a half weeks to discover the treasures of East Gippsland. The festival salutes winter's long nights with pop-up events, lavish winter feasts, art installations, lantern parades, tours and workshops.
You can choose from over 80 events that embrace winter, creativity, good food and beautiful locations
Some of the region's best chefs are lined up to show off their culinary skills in surprising locations (Tinamba Hotel meets La Riva; Sardine Dining meets Ocean Grange), there will be craft beer in laneways, a lantern parade to mark the winter solstice, workshops to arrange winter blooms or make your own lanterns, curry nights, White Nights, seafood feasts served with sea shanties, and so much more.

Beers, bbq and beats in Laneway3875 - 18 Jun
Laneway3875 will come to life in mid-winter and be lit-up with a celebration of art, music, good food and craft beer.
Lakes Entrance lantern festival - 25 Jun
The Lakes Entrance Lantern Festival will be held on the foreshore on Saturday June 25th to celebrate the winter solstice and our wonderful part of East Gippsland. For the 3rd year we will 'Light up the Lake' with our parade of beautiful hand-made lanterns - many created by our local school children.
Bruthen medieval winter fire festival - 2 Jul
Winter is coming and Bruthen is going medieval for the Winter Festival on July 2nd. There will be fun for all ages from 3pm onwards with sword fighting, medieval feasting, great costumes, music, drumming, lanterns, fire sculpture and a good old bonfire.
Deep in the weeds festival by Sailors Grave Brewing - 8-10 Jul
Sailors Grave have invited their mates from Bodriggy Brewing Co. to bring a night full of weird & wonderful beers and live music. Meatsmith will also be back serving up a selection of delectable delights.
Light up Orbost - 9 Jul
This free event will feature street performers, live music and great food.
