Free Seniors Festival film with cuppa and cake at Wonthaggi on 18 October 2022 by Bass Coast Shire Council and Victorian Seniors Festival
Bass Coast Shire Council, in partnership with the Victorian Seniors Festival, is hosting a free Seniors Festival film, cuppa and cake event in Wonthaggi on Tuesday, 18 October.
Seniors Festival events are held across Victoria to celebrate senior community members and to encourage them to get out and about by participating in free or low-cost activities. The event includes a film screening at the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre, as well as a cuppa (or cold drink) and cake at Ronni's Restaurant, free for Victorian Seniors Card holders.

Free film screening
The event includes a film screening at the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre, as well as a cuppa (or cold drink) and cake at Ronni's Restaurant, free for Victorian Seniors Card holders. If you don't have a Seniors Card or you're a senior who would like to attend with a friend or relative who doesn't have a card, there are also paid tickets available for this event.
The morning session starts at 10.30am and features the film 'Ticket to Paradise'. The afternoon session starts at 2.00pm and will feature the film 'Moonage Daydream'. The cuppa and cake can be enjoyed anytime between 10.00am and 3.00pm at Ronni's Restaurant, opposite the Arts Centre.
Event booking
Tickets are limited, so bookings are essential for all attendees, through Victorian Seniors Festival Event 2022 page or by calling the Arts Centre on (03) 5671 2470.
Transport assistance to and from the event is available free of charge for Seniors Card holders and their companions from several central locations across Bass Coast.
To request transport assistance, please select your location as part of your booking for this event and a member of council's Social and Community Planning Team will be in contact with you to discuss your transport needs.
