Gippsland Water sponsors Morwell Neighbourhood House Lawn Mower Bank
Gippsland Water sponsors Morwell Neighbourhood House's LawnMower Bank, providing free access to mowers, enhancing community pride, and supporting wellbeing initiatives in the region.
Morwell Neighbourhood House (MNH) has added a shiny new lawn mower to its Lawn Mower Bank, thanks to Gippsland Water. Gippsland Water sponsored the purchase of the red Honda which arrived at MNH last week as an addition to its small collection of lawn mowers already in service. MNH's free lawn mower bank improves access for people in Morwell and surrounding areas, with the option to use a fully fuelled up mower and return it later that day.

Community wellbeing support
Gippsland Water managing director Sarah Cumming said sponsorships were just one of the ways Gippsland Water supports the wider community. "We are committed to supporting organisations like Morwell Neighbourhood House, which do so much for community wellbeing. We also support a number of community groups, charity organisations and sporting groups whose visions for Gippsland align with our own."
MNH manager Tracie Lund said the primary barriers people face when maintaining their own lawn were access and cost. The service allows people to enhance the appearance of their home and neighbourhood. It builds people's confidence and supports community and neighbourhood pride. We can't do it without the support and sponsorship from the community and industry."
