Warmer Pool for Yarram Project adds new aquatic services for community
Wellington Shire Council is reminding Yarram residents that additional programming will be available at the new-look Yarram pool this summer swim season, with the aim of increasing accessibility for the community.
With the recent completion of the Warmer Pool for Yarram Project, the Yarram pool now includes an impressive over-pool structure with blinds and electric heat pumps that keep the water temperature to a warm 29 degrees Celsius, allowing for multipurpose use and increased services to be offered to pool users. In line with council's summer season pools operating model, the Yarram pool will be open on days when the temperature is forecast to reach 25 degrees or higher.
