Pool opening updates
Chief Executive Officer Anthony Basford said pool maintenance staff continue to prepare and de-winter the pool for its 2023-24 season. "It is council's goal to have the pool open by Tuesday, December 26; however, we cannot guarantee at this time that will be because. We will keep the community updated as the situation evolves," Mr Basford said. Council will continue to share updates as it monitors the situation.
The Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre(BARC) indoor pool remains open for those wishing to swim in the interim, with lap swimming and leisure swimming options available, along with the warm water pool and water play options.
